For FOG Design+Art 2023, Rebecca Camacho Presents is pleased to highlight a solo exhibition of new works by Los Angeles based artist Max Jansons. Moving fluidly between realism, gestural abstraction, pure color and texture, Jansons’ elegant and layered paintings oscillate between grand figurative floral scapes and abstract geometric details of singular flowers.

The ubiquitous symbolism of Jansons’ blooms transcends time, place, content and context. Engaging viewers with beauty, Jansons’ paintings document impermanence, transformation, possibility, and the vulnerability of the human experience.
