FOG Design+Art 2022

For FOG Design+Art 2022, Rebecca Camacho Presents presented a solo exhibition of new works by ektor garcia. A multidisciplinary artist who approaches sculpture through wide-ranging experiments with craft traditions and materials, garcia's accumulative practice encompasses textiles, ceramics, metalwork and found objects. His process is synthesized through the mark of his own hand; garcia works singularly, learning and executing each varied artistic technique. Manifesting an interest in personal histories, queer culture, narrative threads and nomadic states, garcia's layered installations are both self-referential and universal reflections.
