Dorian Reid

Dorian Reid (b. ,1957, Berkeley CA) lives and works in Berkeley, CA. Reid builds forms with an immediacy and explosive energy that express the artist’s advocacy for animal empowerment.

Dorian Reid currently attends NIAD Art Center’s studio three days a week. She works across a wide range of media, including clay-based sculpture. She has had solo exhibitions at Kapp Kapp, Philadelphia PA (2020) and NIAD Art Center, Richmond, CA (2015).

Her work has been included in group exhibitions at the Oakland Museum of California, Oakland CA (2023); Richmond Art Center, Richmond CA (2023); NIAD Art Center, Richmond CA (2022); Marin Museum of Contemporary Art, Novato CA (2022); Christie’s San Francisco, San Francisco CA (2020); amongst others.
